Barbecued Pork Skewers
A great barbecue treat marinated in soy sauce, rice whine and sugar.

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 pounds pork butt
  • 2/3 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • Directions

    Cut the pork into 3/4 inch cubes and marinate with minced garlic, soy sauce, rice wine and sugar in the refrigerator overnight.

    Remove pork from marinade and place in bowl with oil and stir until pork is evenly coated. Soak bamboo skewers in water for 5 minutes and place 5 to 6 pieces of pork on each skewer. Grill the pork skewers for 5 minutes on each side, basting with the remaining marinade.
