Fresh Lumpia
Fresh Lumpia made with pork, carrots, sprouts and cabbage.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. ground pork
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 cup grated carrot
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp. water
  • Directions

    In a skillet, brown pork and saute with garlic, onion ,salt and pepper. Add carrots cook until tender. Stir in bean sprouts and cabbage and add soy sauce mix in the cornstarch- water mixture. Cook for 5 minutes and then set aside to cool.

    After the filling has cooled, add a tablespoon of filling onto a lumpia wrapper and roll.

    Makes 8-10 servings.
