Lumpia Wrappers
Thin wrappers for making fresh or fried filipino lumpia.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cup water
  • Butter for frying
  • Directions

    Mix flour, cornstarch, salt in a medium bowl. Add eggs and water and mix well until very smooth.

    In a heated skillet. Butter the skillet lightly and add a very thin lair of batter. Cook one side only on medium heat until done. Remove the cooked wrapper from the skillet and place on wax paper.

    Be sure to seperate each wrapper by placing a piece of wax paper between them or they will be hard to seperate later. Makes 8-10 wrappers.
